Introduction

I kind of always have had trouble with describing myself or talking about what I like to do or want to do in the future, but after a year and a half of being in college, I have gotten the hang of it. First and foremost my name is Gabriel Araujo and I'm originally from the beautiful Venezuela and I moved with my mom and brother to the US in 2005 at the tender age of 10. Fast forward to more recent times and I got accepted to UF and I couldn't be more thrilled about being here. I'm a second year Finance major and I'm hoping that I can land an internship for this summer, preferably working with wealth management or investing. Getting involved in those two fields is what I hope to do for a living in the near future, but I would also love to start my own business. I have no clue what it'll be, but there's plenty of time to think about a new cool idea.



Pictured below is the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, which is home to my favorite sports team, Real Madrid. The reason I put this here is because they're the best team ever and need to be recognized on this blog, but also because I really hope to be able to see them play in Madrid next year. Traveling to Spain is something that is in the works for me, and I'm really looking forward to seeing my team play. Hala Madrid!
